Before becoming part of our team, offshore new-hires go through SEACOR Marine's hiring and training process. First, all offshore new-hires will successfully complete a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and USCG physical. After the hiring process is complete, a newly hired offshore employee is sent to SEACOR University for training.

Day 1: STCW Firefighting Classroom Instruction
Day 2: STCW Firefighting Field
Day 3: SEACOR Orientation and Safe Gulf / OMSA
Day 4: Line Handling, Marlinspike, Defensive Driving, and Maritime Security / VSO (Vessel Security Officer)
Day 5: STCW First Aid / CPR
Day 6: STCW Water Survival Classroom
Day 7: STCW Water Survival Field and Personal Safety and Social Responsibility
Day 8: Fifth Edition Rigging
